today was a good day.

aside from the terrible feeling of washing dishes with very hot water flowing from the tap (i don't know, must be the heating of the pipes by the blazing sun), the rest of the day was good. i can't remember when's the last time i had a (real, very happy) smile plastered on my face so many times in a day. it was the last day of school for the kids today, and we had a carnival--lots of cooking, games, getting them to 'buy' (with laminated miniature money), dancing, etc etc. then after the entire day there was a huge gathering of teachers and staff and 2 volunteers (haha, WHO ELSE), with dinner, and crazy, crazy games. and playful banter and just enjoying each other's company. lots of laughter and shrieking (we took the games very seriously). and singing. haha.

am sad my vol buddy leehoon has to start work next week. but it's okay, you can still take leave and join us on our holiday programme okay. :)

i played with a canon dslr today and oh man. if only i had more time to play around and figure out its functions. argh. it makes my 6megapigs digicam seem like a small fry. the dslr is like, the whole potato. hahahahhaha.
